What is Holistic Health and Wellness Coaching?

A certified holistic health and wellness coach works one-on-one with individuals who want to improve their health and well-being. The coach helps jump start motivation, encourage positive behavior change, and explore meaningful changes that help clients maintain healthy habits for life. 
The coach will also examine the larger picture of the client’s life to focus on areas that require self-improvement, and it views the mind, body, and spirit as one. It does not focus on a specific desired outcome. Instead, many interrelated issues are addressed that affect poor health or are connected to health to achieve long-term results.

Ann is a certified Health and Wellness Coach who focuses on a holistic client-centered approach to overall wellness, stress management, health goals, and life transitions.  

Ann empowers her clients to tap into their own strengths and potential.  Ann works one on one with the client to mobilize their own motivations, life visions, and goals. She is trained in behavior change and spends more time asking great questions to help her clients find their own answers than providing the answers. 

Ann is a married mother of two in McKinney Texas. She loves running, spending time with her family, and being active in her church.

A Safe Space for Healing

At The Fit Pelvis we understand that you need flexibility in your life. In order to help you meet your goals and be more successful, we offer in-office visits in a safe environment where babies are welcome to join us and can play during sessions.

Office visits will take place in a private and comfortable room where you can relax and focus on you.

What to Expect

A health and wellness coach works one-on-one with individuals who want to improve their health and well-being. Using concepts drawn from psychology, behavior change, and life coaching fields, a wellness coach helps their client overcome obstacles to maintain healthy habits for life.


The initial consultation will be a time to get to know each other to ensure we will be a good fit and set expectations. An assessment will be given so we can tailor a plan that is unique to you Then during follow up appointments. At this time, we will start designing a health and wellness vision; start co-creating SMART goals; and address any barriers and/or challenges.  


Even though each session will be tailored to each client's needs, a similar structure will be followed. Below is a typical follow up session.


  • Session Opening 

    • Present moment check-in, connect to positive core, connect to wellness vision.

  • Weekly Goal Review 

    •  Explore past action & goal experience; address any barriers/challenges/learned experiences.

  • Focus Time 

    • Client to identify focus area and desired session outcome; identify SMART goals, plan of action and address any barriers.

  • Session Close

    • Summarize action plan, explore insights and feedback.

Initial Consultation

During the first session we will discuss your assessment which will include health history, goals, and previous challenges. We will start to identify your health and wellness vision and goals. 

The first visit will last about 60 minutes.

Follow-Up Visit

Each session will consist of checking in on your health and wellness vision and goal, addressing any new barriers/challenges and establishing new goals or actions steps for the following session.

Each session lasts about 45 minutes.

Fee-for-Service Health and Wellness Coaching

We have found that insurance often limits the types of treatments or the number of sessions that can be provided. In order to provide the best care to you, The Fit Pelvis chooses to work as a cash-based practice and does not bill insurance for services provided.  We provide a superbill so that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We do accept cash, card and HSA/FSA cards. This allows us to charge a flat rate for services that includes everything provided without surprise charges. We strive to make our services affordable for everyone and do not want you to avoid treatment due to cost. Please contact us if cost is a concern for you.  We do provide discounted services to a limited number of patients.
