What to Expect

"Discussing injuries can be tough, especially when it comes to bladder, bowel, and sexual issues. I understand these are sensitive topics, and I want you to feel at ease sharing your concerns so we can help you get back to your best."

- The Fit Pelvis Owner, Katy Girlinghouse

The First Visit

The first visit lasts 45-50 minutes, allowing us to understand your therapy goals and concerns, including bladder, bowel, and sexual health, as well as your eating habits, mental health, and physical activity.

We will conduct a full body examination, assessing your movements, strength, and mobility, and may perform a pelvic floor muscle examination.

Finally, the therapist will share their findings and recommend a treatment plan, including a home exercise program.

What's Next?

During each 45-minute visit, we will review your progress, provide personalized interventions, and offer education and coaching to help you achieve your goals. Interventions will be individualized to you and provided in a safe, comfortable and private environment. You won't get cookie cutter exercises in a gym with an unskilled tech.
